FACILITIES MAINTENANCE: HANDYMAN TRAINING Skills Programme
This five day skills training programme covers half a day of theoretical classroom training and three
days of practical workshop application. The programme focuses on key trade skills expected from a
Handyman and prepares him / her for a professional maintenance service that is client focused. The
focus is on general, civil, construction and electrical maintenance and includes a “mentor” pack of
activities to be performed in the workplace. The delegate is required to complete a portfolio of evidence
for competency sign-off.
